I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist with 9 years of experience in 1:1 and group training. While many thrived in large group HIIT settings, I couldn’t forget the ones who fell through the cracks. Adequate time and support were often lacking in those crowded environments, so when gyms shut down in 2020, I set out to create something more sustainable.
I first started personal training in college between classes, drawn to the energy and positivity of helping others reach their goals. By age 11 a spinal fusion had already reshaped my connection to movement, so form has come first from the start. It wasn't until I studied biomechanics more deeply that I began to notice the compensations I'd been unknowingly reinforcing. Small changes made everything fall into place, and the relief I felt ignited a spark to help others do more than just push-ups. I pursued my Corrective Exercise Specialization and built my approach working with clients from the ground up. Years later, a diagnosis of multiple clotting conditions once again forced me to reconsider not just how I trained, but why. For myself and my clients, I've slowed things down to prioritize technique and emphasize mind-muscle connection. There is a time for intensity but the foundation must be firm. Here, we train for the hard days, not the highlight reel.
Life will happen. Let's move through it.
